By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

By accessing our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, which incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our website and services.

The Studio of African Wildlife Art reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Use of Website and Services
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website and make purchases. By accessing our site, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract under the laws of Rwanda.
2.2 Content Usage
All content on this website, including artwork images, photographs, text, logos, graphics, and other materials, is the exclusive intellectual property of the Studio of African Wildlife Art or its respective artists and content creators. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the studio.
2.3 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any activity that disrupts, interferes with, or compromises the security or integrity of our website. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to: introducing malware or viruses, engaging in phishing or fraud, attempting unauthorised access to user data, and using the site for any unlawful purpose under Rwandan law.
3. Products and Purchases
3.1 Artwork Descriptions and Availability
The Studio of African Wildlife Art strives to provide accurate descriptions, dimensions, and photographic representations of all artworks listed on our website. However, we cannot guarantee that colours displayed on your screen precisely match the original artwork. All artworks are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to limit quantities or withdraw any item from sale at any time.
3.2 Pricing and Payment
All prices on our website are listed in Rwanda Francs (RWF). The Studio of African Wildlife Art reserves the right to update pricing at any time without notice. Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept major international credit and debit cards, and mobile money payments including MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money where available.
3.3 Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs, methods, and estimated delivery times will be presented at checkout. We ship both domestically within Rwanda and internationally. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by the destination country, all of which are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We take great care in packaging all artworks for safe transit.
3.4 Returns and Refunds
If you wish to return an item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your artwork at studioofafricanwildlifeart@gmail.com. Returns are accepted on eligible items provided they are in their original, undamaged condition and original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Custom-commissioned works are non-refundable once production has commenced.
4. Commissioned Artwork
The Studio of African Wildlife Art offers bespoke commissioned pieces. Upon agreement of a commission, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed price is required to begin work. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before delivery. The studio retains the right to reproduce commissioned works for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
The studio is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Rwanda's Law No. 058/2021 of 13/10/2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Studio of African Wildlife Art provides its website and all content on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the uninterrupted availability, security, or accuracy of the website. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Rwandan law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Studio of African Wildlife Art, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or the purchase of any artwork. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profit, whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Studio of African Wildlife Art and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your violation of these Terms or your use of our website.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Rwanda. We encourage amicable resolution of disputes before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
